Photographer’s Bio – Eric Jackson

I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, affectionately known around the world as the “D.”  I developed an early interest in photography as a young adult, which led me to a love and appreciation for urban cities, travel and people.  Purposely, my body of work includes fine art, products, and corporate headshots.  I am grateful to continue to have the opportunity to work with interior designers, creatives, business owners, and national not-for-profit organizations.

As a photographer, I want my images to have the ability to create an environment in which the subject, be it a scape, product or person, stands out and shines.  It is my hope that viewers truly enjoy the images, as much as I do when creating them.  While it is my intent for the images to motivate and inspire those same viewers to be influenced to follow suit in its themed purpose; all while giving them an open pass to create their own interpretation.

I have had my share of embracing various cities as a resident; from Chicago to Washington, DC. But as fate would have it, it brought me back to the city that gave me life. Noted, I never thought I would ever return to Detroit. However, I am ecstatic to have done just that. And yes, I actually do live inside Detroit city limits.
